2. Solid track record of meeting expectations

In 2020, our mines produced 1.737 million ounces of gold, compared to our market guidance of 1.705 million ounces; this was the ninth consecutive year that we exceeded production guidance.

3. Existing Project Pipeline provides High-quality Production Growth

Agnico Eagle’s growth is driven by a consistent investment strategy and solid execution. Since 2005, we have added significant value through the acquisition of several development stage projects, where mineral reserves and mineral resources have expanded through focused exploration activities. Five of these projects have become operating mines.

Our current project pipeline is expected to drive a new phase of growth for the Company over the next four years. Our pipeline includes low risk organic (minesite) growth opportunities in all of our operating regions. We anticipate growing our payable gold production from approximately 1.74 million ounces in 2020 to approximately 2.15 million ounces in 2024.

Our high quality gold reserves also support our future growth. Agnico Eagle’s average gold grade is over 100% higher than the average of our North American peers.

4. Providing meaningful dividends

Agnico Eagle has a long history of paying dividends to our shareholders. In February 2020, we marked our 38th consecutive year of paying dividends, with cumulative dividends of ~$1.4 billion paid since 1983. In October 2020, we announced a 75% increase in our quarterly dividend – from $0.20 per share to $0.35 per share. Agnico Eagle’s goal is to continue increasing our dividend payment to shareholders over time.

5. Operating in a Safe Jurisdictions and in a Socially Responsible Manner

We follow a consistent, time-tested strategy of focusing on geopolitically safe jurisdictions with superior geological potential. We’re not interested in pursuing world class assets in unstable or risky places. We’d rather build and manage good assets in safe regions and build strong relationships in those regions which allow us to operate for decades. We believe this approach is a key competitive advantage for us.
